Single-Band, Single-Mode KPCS MCM RF Subsystem
Complete RF subsystem for single-band, single-mode KPCS handsets.
Skyworks single-band, single-mode KPCS RF subsystem provides the highest level of integration for standard Korean PCS wireless applications. This subsystem provides state-of-the-art integration to enable the smallest possible form factor in the industry. These devices support small handset form factors with the entire subsystem fitting into a 160 mm2 area. This subsystem also eliminates the need for most RF tuning on the handset.
The Single-Band, Single-Mode KPCS MCM RF Subsystem features:
- Four-step LNA gain control
- Low power consumption including sleep operation
- Mode control logic for receive and sleep
- Device control using serial bus interface
- Fully integrated and auto-tuned baseband channel filters
- Integrated synthesizer with automatic tuning
- Integrated SAW filter and matching components
- High efficiency PA for KPCS
- Transmit power control with 90 dB dynamic range
The Single-Band, Single-Mode KPCS MCM RF Subsystem consists of:
- SKY74660 Receiver – A highly integrated, single-band KPCS receiver incorporating all the components needed to implement the receiver chain (from the LNA to the I/Q output) including the SAW filter and matching components
- SKY74760 Transmitter – A single-supply KPCS transmitter that incorporates all transmit functions from the I/Q analog signal inputs to the PA output including the SAW filter and matching components
